A new generation hardly reads the wall clock

Students in Britain tried to tell the time using an analog clock, which is based on the presence of hands, but many of them failed in this simple task.

The British newspaper, Daily Mail, said that the digital clock was displayed during the GCSE examination in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, after students failed to tell the time through the wall clock.

The ages of the students who take this exam range from 14-16 years.

The newspaper added that the digital clock was introduced because the students struggled to read the analog clock, which is considered traditional.
