Argentine police arrested a fan who hijacked a bus full of passengers, wanting him to return home quickly to watch his country's match against Croatia, last Tuesday.
According to "Al-Jazeera" quoting from a local Argentinian website, a man named Sarion (53 years old) wanted to return quickly to his home to watch the match of his team, Argentina, against his Croatian counterpart in the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The bus on line "440" between Fraga and Avenida Ricardo Balbín, at one of the traffic lights, its driver got off, so he got up and drove towards his house in order to watch the match.
Once the driver saw the bus driving away, he called the police to report the kidnapping, and several police cars were dispatched to their last known location. Sites said, "The actual bus driver told the passengers at the beginning of his trip that he would stop to buy something from one of the kiosks, which made the man feel frustrated because the bus trip was taking a long time, and he was in a hurry, and he wanted to go back in time to watch the match."
