Zig Ziglar was born in Alabama, Mississippi (6 November 1926 28 November 2012) he is a famous American salesman and motivational speaker.

At 6 years old both his younger sister and his father died completely unexpectedly.

During primary school, in order to cover expenses and help his mum with extra money, he started selling peanuts. Later, he worked as a grocer. Zig had a great respect to his mum whom he describe as remarkable woman for her efforts to care for the family and the values she imparted for her children.

Zig studies at the University of South Carolina, and got a part-time job as a salesperson for the WearEver Aluminium Company.

Although he experienced several major tragedies, he had a special ability to see these in a positive light.
