Snow in the middle of August in Germany!!

German media reported this Saturday (8August) , that heavy snow flooded the German city of Reutlingen, with a thickness of 30 centimeters.

Snow fell over the city since yesterday with strong hail showers, forcing municipalities and service facilities to use special snow removal equipment.

The newspaper wrote: "A thunderstorm occurred on Friday afternoon, in the center of Reutlingen in Baden-Württemberg, and covered the streets of the city with a layer of hail measuring 30 cm thick," noting that the severity of the storm reached the second level.

The melting of snow very quickly and its mixing with leaves and other materials caused water drains to become clogged, which in turn led to flooding of parking lots, basements and underground cellars. The level of a river near the city rose for a short time and overflowed, according to the newspaper.

The newspaper pointed out that the city authorities harnessed 250 firefighters and snow removal equipment to clean the snow in the city center.
