Readers of the Chinese website WeChat revealed the things in the home that become carriers of dangerous microorganisms.

The washing machine ranks second in the list of the dirtiest things in homes. It is noteworthy that experts from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in China conducted an experiment in Beijing and Shanghai and discovered huge accumulations of Escherichia coli bacteria and mold in the washing machine.

Readers pointed out the need to clean air conditioners (in third place) during the winter season. If this process is ignored, microorganisms will accumulate inside and this can cause a persistent runny nose.

And fourth in the list is occupied by the showerhead, where not only mold, but also a lot of bacteria accumulate. It is believed that without proper cleaning, microbes can enter the body with running water and cause diarrhea and other unpleasant consequences.
