As a result of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, a large olive grove in the southern Hatay province was destroyed, creating a deep chasm that measured 984 feet in length.
According to the Daily Sabah, a Turkish newspaper, the jagged rift that splits the olive grove in half measures 165 feet in width and 130 feet in depth.
It is approximately the width of a football field and the height of a 13-story building.
