The Indian Express reported that a Labrador has become the "chief happiness officer" of an Indian company.

The newspaper reports that a technology startup from Hyderabad, India, has hired a golden Labrador retriever named Denver as its "chief happiness officer." The company asserts that the dog will effectively contribute to creating a friendly and positive atmosphere within the team.

Denver has already become an integral member of the team. He has his own business card, a work email, and even a meeting schedule. His responsibilities include greeting employees in the morning, participating in breaks, creating a comfortable work environment during busy work days, and holding short, informal coffee sessions. Employees found that the dog's presence increased the joy and calm in the office.

The choice of a golden retriever was no coincidence, as this breed is known for its friendliness, poise, and ability to empathize with others. The company's founder notes the importance of these qualities in maintaining team morale.

This move was widely welcomed by social media users, with many describing it as an innovative initiative that benefits employees' mental health. Some joked that they would also apply for a job at such a company.
