McDonald's restaurants in Japan announced on their Internet pages the launch of a new fragrance with the scent of French fries.
According to available information, the new fragrance will be launched in three “flavors”: classic, french fries with garlic and black pepper, and french fries with sea salt.
This announcement sparked mixed reactions from some activists on social media, especially since the launch of the new fragrance comes as International Women's Day approaches on March 8.
It should be noted that a similar perfume with the scent of fried potatoes was announced in 2022 in the American state of Idaho on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
