The mayor of an Italian city Alicudi, offering free goats for hunters

The mayor of the Italian city of Alicudi promised to give goats to everyone who hunts them.

Riccardo Gollo, mayor of the Italian city of Alicudi, located on the island of the same name in Sicily, presented his program and said that he would give goats for free to anyone who can hunt them.

Under his program, every citizen can send an email request to the local government, pay a nominal tax of $17, and then take as many goats as he wants after hunting them, provided that the goats are removed from the island within 15 days of obtaining the license.

It is noteworthy that the first herd of goats appeared on the island about 20 years ago. Farmers brought them to raise them, but they began to roam freely throughout the region and turned into wild animals, and their number increased six-fold.
