Two Filipino brides hold their wedding in a flooded church

A couple in the Philippines insisted on holding their wedding despite the floods that hit the area, which left the church grounds submerged in heavy rain.

Video clips and photos showed that the newlyweds entered the church in the Philippine city of Malolos, and walked with their feet up to the ankle in the water.

In a display of love and determination, the bride, with a smile on her face, walked down the flooded aisle of the church, undisturbed by the deep waters.

The story of the wet brides spread quickly on the media, after a relative of the bride published pictures and video clips during the mass while they were in front of the church altar, while the ends of their clothes were wet with the flood water.
