An Algerian migrant helps a woman give birth on the sidewalks of Paris

The story of an Algerian man who immigrated to France spread across social media after he helped a woman give birth on the sidewalks of the capital, Paris.

According to the Observa Algerie website, the man named Rabah Soltani, 45 years old, worked as a firefighter in Algeria, which he left in 2018, and currently works as a delivery driver in Paris.

On February 5, while he was leaving to deliver an order on his motorcycle, he found a Cameroonian woman writhing in pain in the middle of the street in Paris.

Upon seeing the woman's condition, he did not hesitate to stop to help her and notify emergency services to take the mother to the hospital.

Thanks to his professional experience, Rabah was able to assist the woman in question while she was giving birth on the sidewalk even before help arrived.

Rabeh said in a post on his Facebook page: “It gives me great pleasure today to carry out relief work. By welcoming an infant on the sidewalk. Well done, brave mother, and congratulations.”
