A few days ago, the Administrative Board of the Lebanese Federation of Climbing and Mountain Sports held its first retreat for this year, in the presence of all members, congratulated the Lebanese in general, athletes and mountain lovers in particular, about the achievement which Tema Darian has accomplished by reaching the south pole.
Tema was the first Lebanese woman to reach the summit of Everest in 2019, the highest point on Earth, along with a Lebanese team consisting of 6 people out of 15 Arab climbers.
