A recent study revealed that eating 10 grams of dark chocolate a day makes a person happier, according to the British newspaper, "Daily Mail".
The study was conducted by researchers in the Department of Food and Nutrition at the College of Human Ecology, affiliated with Seoul National University. They found, in their study, that a small amount of dark chocolate is able to significantly improve mood. They stated: "To our knowledge, this is the first study to provide evidence that consumption of dark chocolate in daily life affects positively the Physiological and psychological states.
The study found that healthy adults who ate 10 grams of dark chocolate daily were "happier", compared to healthy adults who didn't eat it at all.
Dark chocolate contains an important proportion of cocoa, which is rich in fiber, iron and a number of minerals beneficial to the body.
