Daryl Barton, a bus driver, saved a woman from an attempted suicide while she was standing on the edge of a bridge in New York City holding her child as well to jump together off the bridge.
The bus driver stopped when he saw a young woman about 20 years old, and asked her if she needed his help, before he went to her and helped her get past the barrier separating the edge of the bridge and the sidewalk, then sat with her on the sidewalk to talk to her, amid the applause of the bus passengers.
"I should have been by her side in that moment, and that's what I did," Daryl Barton told the media.
