✈️(Iata) has developed "One ID's 'ready-to-fly" Standard that will make air travel easier.


In partnership with airlines, it aims to improve the airport passenger experience through contactless biometrics, "One ID's 'ready-to-fly' process will be implemented at airports in the future as part of IATA initiative.


This contactless method is already implemented in several airports, allowing passengers to board without presenting paper paperwork because they are linked to a biometric identifier.


Some cases, still require travelers to prove their admissibility at check-in desks or boarding gates, with physical checks of documents including passports, visas, and health certificates.
