A funny video of geese running with runners in a marathon in New York has gone viral on Telegram.

The geese appeared walking with quick steps next to the runners, amid the encouragement of the spectators.

The page that posted the video on Telegram commented: "The geese ran a short distance, but managed to please and inspire the other runners."
